Effects and Results
Page Fifteen “Sauna Therapy” explains, that, "Sauna use inhibits the sympathetic nervous system, dilates peripheral blood vessels, and causes profuse sweating. It greatly enhances the circulation of the blood and lymph, increases oxygenation of the tissues, and relieves internal organ congestion. It can also help relieve pain, relax muscles, and increase the flexibility of tendons and ligaments. It also helps kill or disable many microorganisms, and hastens the death of weaker, toxic and mutated cells. Producing heat-shock proteins may be another great benefit of sauna use." Please consult “SAUNA THERAPY” and DrLWilson.com for a more complete medical explanation of how the Infrared-Lamp Sauna effects the human body. At this juncture (June 2007), I have been doing daily 30-minute sessions for almost six months. I have experienced one major healing crisis, that lasted about two days, and my inflammation was much better for about two weeks after that. During the past six months, the typical level of inflammation in my body seems to be receding. The only other healing reactions that I've had are burning sensations from what I sweat out, especially on my forehead, and on my legs, below the knees. I have also experienced several episodes of visual auras in my eyes.
